Account & Data Deletion
ShelfOne provides full control over your merchant account and data. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or use this web portal if you have uninstalled the application.
Method 1: Delete Directly Inside the App
If you have the ShelfOne app installed and can sign in, you can initiate immediate deletion from your settings:
- Open ShelfOne and log into your merchant account.
- Tap on Settings in the main navigation menu.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone: Store & Data Deletion section.
- Click Request Account Deletion and confirm your request.
- Your store profile, product inventory, and customer databases will be queued for permanent purging.
Method 2: Web Deletion Request Form (Without App)
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot log in, submit this form. Our team will verify your ownership and process the deletion within 7–14 business days.
What Data is Deleted vs. Retained
- Merchant login credentials & authentication tokens
- Store profile, logos, banners, and storefront URLs
- Product inventory catalog, SKUs, and barcodes
- Customer contact directory and Khata ledger entries
- Employee / staff logins and access permissions
- Notification preferences and cached app state
Under Section 36 of the Indian Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017, registered businesses are legally obligated to maintain tax invoices and accounting records for a minimum period of 72 months (6 years).
Past tax invoice summaries may be preserved in an encrypted, non-accessible compliance archive solely for statutory audits, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
